Hi! I'm Ann Chong (Voon Ann Chong), a Malaysian-born Chicago-based cinematographer and camera assistant with a background in animation, illustration and storyboarding.
I enjoy storytelling using different medias and have been using creative ways to tell stories for brands, independent projects, documentaries and narrative since 2012. During my days with MOB Digital Media and Leo Burnett, I've worked with notable clients such as Chili's, DECORTÉ, Clarks, Kit Kat, Taylor's University, etc.
Immersing myself in film is my way of connecting with people and the world. To be able to feel deep emotions and empathy when watching a film, is what drives me to continue creating. I hope that through my art, it will become a bridge for people to be more understanding towards one another.
Resume upon request.
